Project G plans to do the
Dear Pen Pal Movie
Red Carpet Premiere in Albuquerque, New Mexico before other locations for various reasons. The film is being made by local New Mexican filmmakers and 90% of the locations shot are based in New Mexico and 10% in Los Angeles, California. As a local New Mexican filmmaker Project G wants to first support our local and State community by bringing revenue to the state.

ABOUT: DEAR PEN PAL

 

Extreme Sport (skateboarding). Drama. Romance. Narrative Feature Film.

Two school Pen Pals Rena Lee and John Nolan go through a challenging journey of personal growth and self development. Rena falls into an abusive relationship that her friends try to help her get out of, while John goes through one bad relationship to the next. Through their love of skateboarding they grow closer only to discover that the person they only knew through a computer was the right one for them. When their friends realize John and Rena have feelings for each other, they will do just about anything to bring them together.

“Dear Pen Pal” is a low budget, independent feature film. Scheduled to shoot in August 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Los Angeles, California. This film has potential to be a recipe for some serious success.

THE PRODUCTION DATE HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO FUNDING!!

We were not able to reach our budget goal and are still in the process of getting that worked out. We are not cancelling the film, but once we reach our goal we will set a new production date.

This film has a lot of potential to raise the funding we need, and the ability to garner a lot of attention with skaters and companies behind us. We want to be able to do this right and feel that this is the right decision to go with at this time.

The look of "Dear Pen Pal's website will change after Post Production. It'll have:

  • Dear Pen Pal's teaser trailer
  • Dear Pen Pal's trailer (after screening)
  • List of our cast and crew, along with their info, resume and link to their website (if any)
  • Dear Pen Pal's Soundtrack page of the songs we used for the film that allow our audiences to listen only, picture of the band's album cover, review, band's bio and a link to their website so people can buy the album directly from the band, and the band keeps all the profit.

    This is our way of saying "Thank you for letting us use one of your songs for the film, for free."
